We partner with local and regional Workforce Accountability Boards to strengthen our students’ employment placement or advancement within their current career paths. Knowledgeable professionals help us take the proper steps to ensure student success after graduation.
Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is possible for everyone in Sierra County and surrounding areas. Students will develop and strengthen adult basic skills in order to earn their diplomas and propel themselves forward in the job market.
Through our collaboration with the Downieville Fire Protection District and NorCal-EMS, we are proud to offer an advanced EMT training program. Our students learn the skills necessary to be first on the scene of a medical emergency and make life-or-death decisions out in the field.
We provide opportunities to obtain short- and long-term job skill certifications that lead directly into new employment or advancement with their current employer. Our graduates stand out from the crowd with certifications proving they know their craft.
